What's On This Term:

Tuesday 10th February: Keeping Ourselves Safe parent meeting at 6pm in the e-learning room and meet the Teacher Evening at 6:45pm in the hall.
Wednesday
1) Friday 24th April- ANZAC Service 2) Monday 26th April- ANZAC Public Holiday3) Monday 1st June- Queens Birthday Public Holiday4) Thursday 11th February: Year 3 Basketball starts. Please send a change of clothes with your child and ensure all items are named.
Friday 13th February: Year 3 Soccer (just for this Friday).June- Anniversary Reporting Evening.
Some helpful things to know...
Library time: Room 24 goes to the library every Thursday afternoon.
Learning: This beginswill begin again on Friday 13th February.1st May.
Brain Food:
We have brain food each day at approximately 10:00am. Please provide your child with fruit or crackers to eat during this time.
Basketball:Sport/ Fitness: Beginning in Week 2, Room 24 will have basketball every Wednesday morning at 9:30am.fitness on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Children can bring a spare pair of socks and sports shoes to play in. If you wish to send a change sports clothes for your child to wear when they play basketball, you may do so but pleaseparticipate in sport or fitness. Please ensure that are named. Sport this term will focus on ball skills and will take place on Wednesdays. Jump Jam will be on a Friday.

Last year we were so impressed with the efforts that Willowbank School community displayed with their litterless lunches. We want to continue this throughout 2015. We hope to see by the end of term one everyone having a go at bringing lunches that are free of plastic waste.
